Stephanie Gauvin is a youthful artist from Rossland BC who needs to share her vibrant passion for colour, movement and her love for the outdoors through her paintings. "Rossland has become the place where I have been able to merge my lifestyle with my work" she says. Stephanie interconnects her sport (skiing) and her mountain lifestyle, with her creative self; for her there is no difference between the two. "When you feel happy and you know you are where you should be in life then your spontaneity and your imagination are used at it's best. It's a circle..." Most of her winter scenes are indicative of her love and enthusiasm for the cold season. Stephanie's focus now is about canvas painting although her experience holds various forms of artwork such as murals, commercial signs, computer graphics and glass painting. This energetic woman has been leaving her brushmark everywhere, including Quebec (her birthplace where she studied graphic arts), Whistler and Switzerland.
